Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology program provides hands-on experience in automotive system operation, and diagnosis and repair of passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks. Students will learn how vehicles move and operate, giving them the knowledge and skills to keep them running smoothly. Upon completion, students can earn a Basic Certificate, Advanced Certificate, or Associate in Applied Science.

Diesel Technology

The Diesel Technology program teaches students how diesel engines work and how to properly diagnose, repair, and maintain them. Upon completion, students can earn a Basic Certificate, Advanced Certificate, or Associate in Applied Science.

  • Diesel engine construction and performance
  • Electronic and mechanical fuel injection
  • Suspension, steering, and brakes
  • Emission controls and heavy-duty manual drives
  • Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
  • Vehicle inspection, tune-ups, and safety procedures

  • Bus & Truck Mechanic
  • Diesel Engine Specialist
