CPS Seniors Save More Than $9 Million on College Tuition at City Colleges

As City Colleges of Chicago continues to encourage civic engagement in our communities, all seven of our colleges were recently recognized for their outstanding efforts to increase nonpartisan student voter participation in the 2024 election. The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) listed our seven colleges on its 2024 ALL IN Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting list, which was released today, November 19, 2024.
This year’s list consisted of 471 colleges and universities across the country, including both community colleges and four-year institutions. Honorees were recognized by ALL IN for completing four core actions:
Earlier this fall, five of our colleges—Harold Washington College, Harry S Truman College, Kennedy-King College, Olive-Harvey College, and Richard J. Daley College, were recognized by ALL IN for their nonpartisan democratic engagement efforts that fostered high levels of student voter engagement in the 2022 midterm elections. Each college received the Bronze Seal, reflecting their commitment to ensuring that nonpartisan democratic engagement is a defining feature of campus life.
