City Colleges Executive Vice Chancellor Aarti Dhupelia and Malcolm X College President David Sanders Named to List of Top Chicago Executives

Dr. Aarti Dhupelia, Executive Vice Chancellor – Chief Student Experience Officer at City Colleges of Chicago, and David Sanders, President of Malcolm X College, have been named to the 2025 Chicago Titan 100, a prestigious list of Chicago’s top executives.

According to Titan, the list of 100 individuals includes “the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership, vision, and passion.” Executives named to the 2025 Chicago Titan 100 span across sectors, including construction, education, financial services, healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, and nonprofit, among others.

As Executive Vice Chancellor – Chief Student Experience Officer, Dr. Dhupelia oversees the District Office of Enrollment Management and Student Services teams, collaborating with leadership at all seven City Colleges to establish best practice expectations for enrollment management, academic advising, student affairs, holistic support, transfer centers, and career services. Since she filled the role in August 2023, she has been focused on establishing best-in-class student services throughout a City Colleges student’s college experience.

President Sanders manages the overall vision, mission, and operations of Malcolm X College, which serves more than 12,000 students annually. He has served as president since 2018 and is also responsible for leading the implementation of the college’s strategic, enrollment management, and equity plans. This is the second time President Sanders has been named to the Chicago Titan 100 list, having received the recognition in 2024 as well.

Dr. Dhupelia, President Sanders, and the 98 other honorees will be celebrated at the Titan 100 awards ceremony at Navy Pier on February 20, 2025. The Titan 100 is a community of executives across the nation. It includes eight U.S. markets in Chicago, Colorado, Georgia, Philadelphia, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, and Wisconsin.
