“If it worked for me, it can work for anybody, all you have to do is persevere,” said Christine Houston.

“I remember an instructor telling me that if you want to be successful with the first thing that you write, write something you know about. I said okay, I’m going to write about my childhood, growing up at  227 E. 48th Street in Chicago and my best friend,” said Christine.
