On International Nurses Day, City Colleges is celebrating with the annual pinning ceremony for the Malcolm X College students who have earned their Associate in Applied Science in Nursing Degree.
The pinning ceremony is a tradition that signifies that students have completed their associate degree and are welcomed into the nursing profession. At the ceremony, the students were officially congratulated by City Colleges Chancellor Juan Salgado, Malcolm X College President David Sanders, Malcolm X College School of Nursing Dean Tammy Scott-Brand before they took the nursing pledge and received the pins.
