Vice President of SGA

As a media and communications student at Kennedy-King College, Sofia Aranda is excited to one day help organizations shape their public perception. And she’s already getting hands-on experience in effective communication as the vice president of the college’s Student Government Association (SGA).

Sofia says that being a part of the organization has been one of the greatest parts of her college experience.

“I got to meet so many people… I was introduced to so many resources, and I inspired others to do the same.”

Her advice to fellow students who are thinking about joining SGA is to give it a try.

“You’ll learn so much from it, and you’ll have that feeling that no one can take away,” Sofia said.
