Olivia

When Olivia began her journey at City Colleges, she took a chance that would open doors to new opportunities. Now, she’s graduating as Truman College’s valedictorian and preparing to take her next step: transferring to a four-year university.

While the recognition feels surreal, Olivia knows she didn’t get here alone. She credits transfer advisor Ellen Goldberg, her professors, the team at Truman College’s Math Center, and tutors for helping her along the way. Their support has made a lasting impact on her college experience. For Olivia, the experience has reinforced her belief that college is worth the investment.

Her advice to others considering the same path? “There’s not much to lose, so you might as well try.”
