Denim Day began in Italy to protest a rape trial when a survivor was blamed for her assault due to the jeans she wore. Denim Day is now recognized as an international day of action during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. In protest against victim-blaming, we wear denim as a visible act of solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

Join Project S.A.F.E. in the Campus Center to connect with campus and community resources, learn ways to stand with survivors, and pick up consent-themed stickers, sunglasses, and more. Don’t forget to wear your favorite denim!
