This is Part two of a two-part series addressing violence affecting migrant communities in Chicago.
Part 1 will discuss the unique experiences of violence, particularly gender-based violence, among migrants: at home, at the border, and here in the United States.
Part 2 will discuss equitable practices for serving im/migrant students who have been affected by violence in a culturally-competent way. Attending Part I is not required to attend the second session.
Audience: The training is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members.
