Trauma-informed yoga provides a safe and supportive space for individuals who have experienced trauma to reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous system, and develop coping mechanisms through mindful movement and breathwork. A trauma-informed yoga teacher will guide participants to foster a sense of agency and control over their bodies.
