We are excited to announce the April 24, 2025, Truman Symposium of Student Research and Creative Activity. All Truman community members are invited to attend! Please join us from 10 am to 3 pm in the Truman Main Building and Theater (see more details in the flyer below/attached and forthcoming program).

More than 55 students will present their research, scholarly, and creative work in poster sessions, performances, oral presentations, and art displays, some of which will explore the Earth Week theme of Our Power, Our Planet. In addition, guest speaker and Pulitzer Center Journalist Alejandra Martinez will participate in a panel discussion with Truman students to discuss her reporting on air quality monitoring and the effects of air pollution on a Latino community in the Houston area.

The symposium is sponsored by Student Experience in Research and Creative Activity at Truman (SERCA @T), in partnership with the Student Development and Engagement Center and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
