Truman: Red Dress Installation - Honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

A Red Dress installation will be on campus in the area between the Main and McKeon Buildings to commemorate Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) from Monday, November 20 – Thursday, November 30.

The Red Dress brings attention to an epidemic of violent crimes against Native women and girls by serving as a visual reminder of their absence. We invite you to learn the names of the missing women and girls and read how Native women are disproportionately affected by violence. 

We will close out the month by wearing red on Thursday, November 30.
