Malcolm X: Health Information Technology (HIT) Virtual Open House

This evolving field combines disciplines of medicine, computer technology, and information management. Working in the HIT field offers a meaningful work environment and the opportunity of continuous learning and advancement. Our stackable degree path allows students to apply all credits earned in the Medical Billing-Basic Certificate (BC) program to the Medical Coding-Advanced Certificate (AC) program. Upon successful completion of the Medical Coding-Advanced Certificate, students can then pursue a degree towards an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology.
