Yasin Arfat is a Rohingya humanitarian activist. He fled from his country Myanmar in 2017 to a Bangladesh refugee camp to escape persecution. He lived in a refugee camp for six years and then arrived in the United States and currently lives near Devon Street on the North Side of Chicago. In this talk, Yasin will share his journey and the history of the Rohingya people and their continual struggles.
