Harold Washington: New Student Orientation (In Person)

Join us for New Student Orientation at Harold Washington College. At orientation, you will learn all about our college resources, processes, programs, and classes you can take. You will also take a tour of the college, meet staff and students, and learn about student clubs and organizations.

You do not have to take this step alone – we are here to help!  

To register for a session, visit your student portal at my.ccc.edu and click "Quick Access." From there, click Navigate –> Appointments –> Schedule an Appointment and select the date and time that works best for you. We have in-person and virtual/Zoom options, and we host evening sessions, too. 

Please bring a photo ID with you to campus to enter the building and to use at check-in. 

Please have your placement test complete or transcripts/test scores submitted to the college. Also, please know how you are going to pay for classes and verify this with our Financial Aid or Business Office team. If you have completed your admissions steps, you will register for classes the same day.
