After graduating from Jones College Prep, Aaron chose Harold Washington for its convenient downtown location and the opportunity to explore his interests while building connections with classmates and professors.
After graduating from Jones College Prep, Aaron chose Harold Washington for its convenient downtown location and the opportunity to explore his interests while building connections with classmates and professors. With support from tutors and advisors who helped him strengthen his application essays, navigate the transfer process, and explore scholarship opportunities, Aaron graduated as Harold Washington College’s 2026 salutatorian.
He transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with plans to earn a master’s degree. His experience at Harold Washington helped him build the academic foundation and confidence to pursue his goals at a four-year university.
