Truman: First Generation Film Screening 

Join us to watch First Generation, a documentary that tells the story of four high school students – an inner-city athlete, a small-town waitress, a Samoan warrior dancer, and the daughter of migrant field workers – who set out to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope to their families and communities by pursuing a college education. Following the film screening, participants will be able to discuss what they learned from the documentary and become familiar with various campus resources and services that are focused on helping students achieve academic and personal success.    Showtimes are at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.
