Breaking the Silence: A Poetry Gathering for Healing and Empowerment

Join us for an hour of poetry, reflection, and strength as we honor Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Poetry Month. 

We invite you to bring some writing to share: your own prose or words written by others that deserve our reverence. 

The spoken and written word is a powerful vessel for expression, storytelling and connection. Whether you come to read or to listen, all are welcome to take part in this space. Together, we will hold space for one another, recognizing the strength in speaking out and the importance of being heard.

Hosted by Project S.A.F.E. In collaboration with City Colleges faculty and students,  this event is open to everyone in the City Colleges community.
