City Colleges of Chicago and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are conducting a research study to better understand students’ experiences and perspectives on gender-based violence in community college settings. We’re especially interested in hearing from students from historically marginalized backgrounds, including Black, Hispanics/Latine, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, students with different abilities, and immigrant students, to ensure all voices are represented in shaping safer, more supportive campus environments. This mixed-methods study integrates quantitative survey analysis and qualitative individual and focus group interviews with current CCC students.
