Survivor Rights in Illinois

When: Monday, January 26 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

This session will provide an overview of the legal rights of survivor of gender-based under state and federal law, including the right to freedom from violence and survivor protections in the home, workplace, and at school. Participants in this training will come away with a basic understanding of the legal options available to survivors of violence and understand the role of survivor advocates in helping survivors assert their rights under the law.

Open to all City Colleges and community partners.
