Welcome to our house!

The Harold Washington College community cannot wait to show you around, answer your question and help you get started on your college and career journey! 

What you can expect at Open House 2025: 

*The opportunity to learn about our college, programs and admissions process!

*Learn about Chicago HOUSE music and how close to the HWC home it’s legendary start really is! 

*Tour our campus, academic, enrollment and student services areas like out Architecture classrooms, Financial Aid Office and President’s Art Gallery!

*Check out our scheduled break out sessions about Early College opportunities, the Access Center, funding your education and even and Admissions presentation in Spanish! 

*Meet with current students, faculty and staff who will ease some of your anxieties and answer all your questions about getting started. 

*Once you love it as much as we do, you will even have a chance to apply to the college, same day! 

     *Random prizes will be ready for those who apply to the college same day!
