Meet our Host

Corey Hendrix is an American actor, writer, director, and producer who currently portrays Gary Sweeps in the Emmy -nominated series The Bear on Hulu.

A product of Chicago’s West Side, Hendrix has starred in a number of television series and films. His credits include Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq,” NBC’s Chicago Med and Chicago P.D., and the hit Showtime series The Chi.

Prior to The Bear, Corey was last seen on FX’s Fargo. Of all the great things he has accomplished, his pride and joy is his family. Hendrix says nothing makes him smile more than seeing his son laugh and smile. "Knowing that he is happy brings me joy."
