After successfully transitioning from English as a Second Language (ESL) classes into college credit classes, Aljtrin Ademovski is inspiring other students to do the same.
Originally from Macedonia, Aljtrin Ademovski came to Wright College with the goal of learning English. Now, as a work-study student in the college’s Adult Education Office, he’s helping other students do the same.
Aljtrin is a friendly face for both his colleagues and students who visit the office. As he pursues his associate degree, having successfully transitioned from ESL into college credit classes, he’s encouraging other non-English speakers at Wright to follow his lead.
Due to the example he sets both in and out of the classroom, Aljtrin received a 2024 Luminary Award.
