Lavender Graduation Celebration

This ceremony is dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ+ Graduates of City Colleges and will serve as a meaningful and inclusive addition to annual graduation festivities planned for the spring. The Lavender Graduation Ceremony at City Colleges of Chicago complements traditional commencement activities, aiming to formally honor LGBTQ+ graduates’ accomplishments and contributions. It fosters inclusivity by celebrating the diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities among students, while also providing networking opportunities for LGBTQ+ graduates, faculty, and allies to support their transition into post-college life.
